Yasmine Sfendla

Yasmine is a postgraduate student at the University of Queensland, undertaking a PhD with CI Bowen.

Research Interests:
Quantum optics & superfluid optomechanics

Yasmine's research comprises the theoretical investigation of realisations of macroscopic quantum states, and the experimental exploration of a superfluid-optomechanical system. Attaining a deeper understanding of, and control over, the interactions between light and a superfluid, is essential to access regimes where the superfluid can exhibit quantum behaviour.
