The new decade is an exciting time to be working on Quantum Science. What started last century as a quirky sideline is now one of the most exciting areas of physics research to be in. The last year has seen important progress in the field, from the installation of squeezers in LIGO to milestone demonstrations of quantum computing. In many of these areas, Australian ideas and researchers are leading the way. One of EQUS’ roles in the international research community is as a way-finder for what comes next.

The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems (EQUS) acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to Elders past and present.
