Lirandë Pira

I research how quantum machines will learn. This entails knowledge of deep learning, quantum physics and computer science. I contribute in understanding the potential of quantum machines in developing better artificial intelligence. This, in turn, will extend our human experience in ways which make us better.

I am a research fellow at the Centre for Quantum Technologies at the National University of Singapore. I completed my PhD at the University of Technology Sydney (Australia), and I have conducted research at research labs in Switzerland (CERN), France (LaBRI/CNRS), Jönköping University (Sweden), University of Milan (Italy) and University College London (UK).

I am equally into arts and literature as science.
