Dr. Lars Madsen

Lars is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Queensland. He works at the Queensland Quantum Optics Lab and the Atom Optics Lab.

His research focuses on hybrid systems of cold atoms and mechanical oscillators and near field cold atom traps.

Lars hopes to demonstrate the cooling of a micromechanical oscillator by extending the control from cold atoms to a mechanical oscillator.

PhD, Technical University of Denmark, Denmark (2009)
