2023 National Science Week round-up

As usual, National Science Week—or, more accurately, National Science Month—was a busy time for public outreach and engagement.  EQUS participated in three main initiatives: the National Quantum & Dark Matter Road Trip, Shirty Science and the National Science Quiz.  The three events, supposedly unrelated other than all being science outreach during (and funded by) National Science Week, ended up having chance crossover between them!

We also subsequently learned that the National Quantum & Dark Matter Road Trip was the biggest event of National Science Week—what an achievement and credit to all the work that goes into it!

Find out more about our adventures below...

EQUS’s Shirty Science shirt may not have won Most Excellent Science Shirt, but it did win over Nate Byrne!

This year’s National Science Quiz was another huge success—congrats to the winning team!

National Science Week: National Quantum & Dark Matter Road Trip
