Dr Peter Jacobson

Dr Peter Jacobson is a lecturer at the University of Queensland. Within EQUS, he researches new materials and fabrication protocols for better superconducting qubits and resonators. Peter is a scanning probe microscopy enthusiast with expertise ranging from STM/AFM at low temperatures and high magnetic fields to terahertz scanning near-field optical microscopy (THz SNOM). Before joining UQ, his research in Austria and Germany used scanning probes to investigate single atom magnetism, molecular motor dynamics, and oxide materials.
