EQUS' executive & advisory committees
EQUS was guided by strong leadership and trusted advice throughout its lifetime. The Centre benefited from the vision of multiple Centre Directors and Deputy Directors, supported by the expertise of our Advisory Committee and Scientific Advisory Committee. Together, this collective provided strategic direction, oversight, and counsel, ensuring EQUS delivered excellence in research, translation, and impact.
Centre Executive

The Centre Executive comprised the Centre Director, Deputy Directors, Chief Operating Officer, Node Directors, Translational Research Program Director and Centre Manager. Together, they provided leadership and strategic direction, ensuring EQUS was managed responsibly and positioned for success.

Scientific Advisory Committee

The Scientific Advisory Committee advised the Centre Director and Centre Executive on the direction of research undertaken within the Centre, as well as providing guidance on emerging international trends and scientific developments. The Scientific Advisory Committee was comprised of:
- Emeritus Professor Sir Peter Knight FRS (Chair), Emeritus Professor at Imperial College London, Fellow of the Royal Society and Chair of the UK National Quantum Technology Programme Strategic Advisory Board.
- Professor Alain Aspect ForMemRS, Research Director and Professor at Laboratoire Charles Fabry, Institut d’Optique.
- Professor Birgitta Whaley FAPS Professor, Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley.
- Professor John Clarke FRS, Department of Physics, University of California, Berkeley.
- Professor Kae Nemoto, Professor at the National Institute of Information (NII) and the Graduate University for Advanced Studies, Director of the Global Research Center for Quantum Information Science at NII.

Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee assisted the Centre Executive by contributing to the development of strategies and vision for the future and by serving as a vehicle for creating better linkages between academia, industry, and government. The Advisory Committee was comprised of:
