Peggy completed her BSc (Physics) at UWA in July 2019. As an undergraduate student, under an EQUS Vacation Scholarship over summer 2019, she worked in the Frequency and Quantum Metrology lab with John McFerran on aspects of the optical lattice clock. She continued her work in EQUS as a research associate. Her work included building an extended cavity diode laser to serve as a repumping laser on the atomic clock, and data analysis to determine hyperfine splitting constants in Ytterbium.
