Nic was a PhD student at The University of Queensland supervised by Prof Tom Stace. His projects focused on understanding superconducting materials for quantum technological applications. He was also interested in quantum error correcting codes. His broad interest is in entanglement in many-body quantum systems: how it may be leveraged in quantum information science and how a better understanding of many-body entanglement can give us insight into fundamental questions in quantum theory.
