Cassie was an Honours student (‘Applying quantum machine learning to classify classical data’) and subsequently a postgraduate student undertaking a PhD at the University of Queensland with Prof Gerard Milburn and A/Prof Sally Shrapnel. Her research surrounds topics at the intersection of quantum optics, general relativity and thermodynamics.
