Mac is a former postgraduate student at the University of Sydney who completed a Masters, ‘Quantum Computation with Gottesman-Kitaev-Preskill Codes: Logical Gates, Measurements, and Analysis Techniques’, with Professor Andrew Doherty and Dr Arne Grimsmo. His research focused on understanding bosonic error correction, particularly the Gottesman-Kitaev-Preskill (GKP) code, and its potential application in superconducting resonators.
