Graeme was a postdoctoral researcher working with Prof Mike Tobar and Dr Maxim Goryachev at the UWA node. His research area is in the direction detection of axion dark matter, magnetic materials and resonance, and working towards microwave single photon counting for fundemental physics experiments. His PhD was titled ‘Improving Axion Dark Matter Detection Experiments with a focus on the use of Magnonic Systems’,
