Elija is a former Honours Student at the University of Sydney and completed his PhD at the University of Technology Sydney with A/Prof Chris Ferrie. My research focused on applications of machine learning & AI to problems in quantum information, including quantum control, quantum circuit synthesis, topological quantum computation and exploring quantum foundations issues, such as the nature of computation, using algorithmic methods.
