Alán is a world-leading expert in the field of quantum chemistry simulations with quantum computers. His collaboration with Centre Director White led to multiple publications on the simulation of quantum systems with photonic quantum emulators. Alán collaborated with the Centre on the designer quantum materials program by modelling and emulating quantum behaviour of biological and chemical processes on engineered quantum systems.
