PhD Student 2021, Research Affiliate 2022-2025

University of Sydney

Abdallah started their tertiary studies at the Lebanese University faculty of engineering Branch 1 (Tripoli) and graduated with a degree of electrical and electronics engineering and masters by research in 2014. They continued their postgraduate studies at the University of Sydney, Computing and Audio Research laboratory (CARlab) in collaboration with the Quantum Nanoscience Laboratory (QNL), and completed their PhD degree for the thesis “Milli-Kelvin Electronics at the Quantum-Classical Interface” in 2021. Abdallah’s interests were in cryogenic electronic readout interfaces to the quantum hardware. Abdallah worked on the cryogenic characterization of SiGe bipolar transistors and its qubit readout potentials, and was invested in designing, building and testing low-noise parametric amplifier circuits for sensing and readout purposes.
