Hakop is a postgraduate student at the University of Sydney. He is currently undertaking his PhD under the supervision of Professor Stephen Bartlett.

His research focusses on quantum computation and quantum information, simulating quantum systems and the foundations of quantum mechanics.

Hakop hopes to identify new techniques for simulating quantum systems and attain new insights into why quantum mechanics is computationally more powerful than classical mechanics.

Qualifications:
BSc (Advanced) (Hons), University of Sydney, Australia (2014)
BComm, Macquarie University, Australia (2004)
