Samantha Hood

Samantha is a postgraduate student at the University of Queensland currently undertaking a PhD with research fellow Ivan Kassal.

Her research is focused on researching charge separation in organic solar cells using computational methods. Samantha will investigate quantum effects on charge transport including delocalisation. She will devise and engineer experiments to test theoretical predictions of these systems.

Samantha hopes to establish a strong theoretical foundation to describe charge transport in organic solar cells, which will lead to experimental tests of these theories.
