Nicholas is a postgraduate student at the University of Sydney currently undertaking a PhD with Dr. Stephen Flammia.

His research will develop the mathematical tool (continuous tensor networks) currently used for finding ground states of gapped quantum systems into a tool for simulating the dynamics of these systems in order to study physical phenomena beyond perturbative limits.

Nicholas hopes to find new mathematical methods to help study gravitational effects on the quantum scale.

BSc (Adv. Mathematics) (Hons), University of Sydney, Australia
