Mackenzie Shaw

Mac is a postgraduate student at the University of Sydney currently undertaking a PhD with Professor Andrew Doherty and Dr Arne Grimsmo. His research focuses on understanding bosonic error correction, particularly the Gottesman-Kitaev-Preskill (GKP) code, and its potential application in superconducting resonators. He will examine both the theoretical description of the codestates, logical gates and logical measurements of GKP codes, as well as their implementation in circuit quantum electrodynamics (QED) systems.
