Dr. Erick Romero

Erick is a research fellow at the University of Queensland.

His research focus is phononics and nanomechanical systems, which aims to develop a circuitry platform based on mechanical vibrations. By engineering the acoustic field interactions with nanomechanical systems, Erick has been able to integrate some circuitry capabilities in a silicon chip, just as an electronic circuit but with phonons.

Qualifications:
PhD, Physics, The University of Queensland
MSc, Optical Physics, Ensenada centre for Scientific Research and Higher Education
BSc, Physics, National Autonomous University of Mexico
