Dr. Arora works on scalable and reversible computing with integrated nanomechanics. She aims to build a scalable computing architecture based on nanomechanical motion, integrated on a silicon chip and proven in harsh environments.
Dr. Arora is based at the University of Queensland node, working as a postdoctoral researcher with CI Professor Warwick Bowen in the Queensland Quantum Optics Lab.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2022. During her Ph.D., she explored nonlinearities and modal coupling in atomically thin 2D mechanical resonators and piezoelectric membranes.
