Maxim is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Western Australia. He works at the Frequency and Quantum Metrology Lab with Professor Michael Tobar.
His research focus is on the application of ultra-high quality factor bulk acoustic wave resonators to engineered quantum systems and tests of fundamental physics.
Maxim hopes to produce high qualtiy factor mechanical systems can give new look at fundamental principles of nature. In particular, he aims to be able to verify the Lorentz Invariance principle in the neutron sector and potentially glance at high frequency gravitational waves from conceivable cosmological sources.
The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems (EQUS) acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to Elders past and present.
