Dr. David Gozzard

Dr David Gozzard is a research fellow working with Chief Investigator Daniel Shaddock at the Australian National University.

His research focuses on laser communications, quantum key distribution, optical phased arrays, and space situational awareness.

Dr Gozzard hopes his research will produce multiple outcomes, including: high bandwidth laser communications between ground and satellites and space probes, quantum-secured encryption distributed by satellites, generation and steering of high-powered laser beams using optical phased arrays, and the tracking and pushing of space debris.

PhD, The University of Western Australia (2017)
BSc, BE (Hons) The University of Western Australia (2013)
