Dr. David Gozzard

Dr David Gozzard is a Forrest Fellow working in the Frequency and Quantum Metrology Lab with CI Professor Michael Tobar on ultra-precise laser links to support the next generation of space science missions. This work primarily focuses on the development of continuous-wave coherent ground-to-space laser links for metrology and communications.

David's previous work includes the development and testing of a high-precision phase synchronization system for the Square Kilometre Array telescope, and a postdoctoral position at the ANU EQUS node with CI Professor Daniel Shaddock where he worked on optical phased array technology, quantum key distribution, and other high-precision laser systems.
