Prof. Kirk McKenzie

Professor Kirk McKenzie (ANU, CI in 2021) joined EQUS after 11 years at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology. CI McKenzie brings to EQUS his research on space-based optical systems, focusing on laser stabilization for gravity-sensing. The ANU has collaborated with CI Stace on applications of laser ranging.  McKenzie won the NASA Exceptional Public Achievement Medal (2019), the NASA Group Achievement Award (2019), and the NASA/JPL Voyager Award (2018).
