Zach was a PhD student at The University of Queensland under the supervision of Dr Peter Jacobson and A/Prof Arkady Fedorov. He explored the development of new material platforms for superconducting devices to be used in quantum computing. Through this exploration, Zach hoped to reduce material losses in superconducting devices, leading to more effective and scalable quantum computers.
