Rakesh was a Postgraduate student at Macquarie University under the supervision of Prof Alexei Gilchrist. His PhD thesis was on “Resourcefulness of General Quantum Measurements” where he was trying to quantify the usefulness of a General Measurement for various information tasks such as characterising quantum devices and optimising measurement-driven quantum computation.
