Prasanna was born in India, schooled in Westlake Boys High school in Auckland, NZ, did a double degree in Monash (ECSE and Physics/Pure-Mathematics (BE+BSc) with honours in both) and a PhD in UNSW on the topic, ‘On a scalable RF-probed Si-P quantum computational architecture’. He joined Prof Arkady Fedorov’s group to pursue his interests in superconducting quantum circuits.
