Maria was a Research Assistant in the Quantum Integration Laboratory at the University of Sydney. She worked to develop numerical models of microwave-optical photon transduction and entangled photon pair generation for quantum networking. Prior to that, she completed her Honours ‘Numerical Modelling for Microwave-Optical Transduction and Photon Pair Generation using Atomic Ensembles’.
