Gargi was a PhD student at the Quantum Integration Laboratory working with Dr John Bartholomew. Her research focused on generating hybrid entangled photon pairs in rare-earth ions for future quantum networking. She completed Masters in Applied Physics in 2020 where she engaged in the theoretical study of continuous variable tools for quantum information.
