Ben was a PhD student in the Quantum Integration Laboratory, supervised by John Bartholomew. He completed his Bachelors of Mechatronic Engineering and Bachelor of Science (Physics) in 2021. He was looking at the use of solid-state quantum memories in the development of astronomical interferometers.
