EQUS PhD student wins EFTF–IFCS Best Student Paper

Congratulations to EQUS PhD student Catriona Thomson for winning the 2021 EFTF–IFCS (Joint Conference of European Frequency and Time Forum and the IEEE International Frequency Control Symposium) Best Student Paper Award, for her paper 'Using precision frequency metrology for dark matter searches'.

Cat's win came as no surprise to her colleagues in the Quantum Technologies and Dark Matter Lab and to her supervisor, Professor Mike Tobar, who highly praised Cat's experiments and results.
