Now that National Science Week is over, we’re excited to be able to congratulate Associate Investigator Lachlan Rogers and his team—author and science communicator Lee Constable (team captain) and astrophysicist Kirsten Banks—on winning the 2024 National Science Quiz!
This year’s quiz was led by CSIRO and hosted by ABC News Breakfast Weather Presenter, Meteorologist and Science Communicator Nate Byrne. The competitors were science communicator Rachel Raynor (team captain), entomologist and author Bryan Lessard and Indigital Founder and CEO Mikaela Jade.
The teams battled it out over 4 rounds of questions, including true/flase, multi-choice, closest-to and open-ended questions, including a guest sponsor question from EQUS Deputy Director John Bartholomew.
Viewers were also able to play along, via Kahoot, with top individuals, teams and schools winning prizes.
Prizes are no longer available, but you can still catch the quiz and play along!
