EQUS welcomes new Scientific Advisory Committee members

EQUS is proud and excited to welcome two new members to our Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC).

In February, we welcomed Assistant Professor Yvonne Gao—a Principle Investigator in the Centre for Quantum Technologies and a Presidential Young Professor in the Department of Physics and the National University of Singapore.  Before joining our Scientific Advisory Committee, Yvonne gave a keynote presentation at the 2022 EQUS Annual Workshop: Quantum information processing with bosonic modes: a story of cats, cavities and coherence.

In March, we welcomed Professor Kae Nemoto—Professor at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) and Centre Director for the OIST Centre for Quantum Physics. Kae will deliver a keynote presentation at the 2023 EQUS Annual Workshop.

Yvonne and Kae provide a greater breadth of topic expertise and some much-needed representation from researchers working in the Asia-Pacific.
