EQuS researchers love talking to young people and sparking their interest in quantum science and physics as a career path. We aim to be part of training the next generation who will lead the Quantum Revolution.

We can present to your high school students and answer their questions as part of a school visit or via video-conference. Video-conferencing technology facilitates ‘virtual school visits’ by EQuS researchers, not only in metropolitan areas but also in regional Australia and at international partner organisations.

Some of our students are part of the UQ Physics Demo Troupe, a group of volunteers interested in spreading enthusiasm for science. They frequently visit schools to run science activities, and also regularly present lecture demonstrations for various undergraduate subjects at The University of Queensland.

If you are interested in lab visits, talks for schools, or demos please contact us.
