EQUS UQ Q&A 2018

Monthly showcase of quantum physics research

The EQUS Q&A series at the University of Queensland showcases current research in quantum physics taking place in our Centre.

The sessions are usually held during lunchtime. Each month will be organised by a different research group.

Seminars will start at 12.00pm and run to 1.30pm.

Food will be provided.

2018 sessions:

  • Friday, February 23 - Peter Wittek from the University of Toronto on "Quantum-Enhanced Machine Learning in Practice"
  • Tuesday, April 3 - Theo Rasing from Radboud University, Institute for Molecules and Materials on "Jumping Crystals" (RSVP required)
  • Monday, May 21 - Niccolo Somaschi of Quandela on "Accelerating optical quantum technologies with quantum-dot based devices"
  • Tuesday, July 10 - Andres Rosario Hamann on "Nonreciprocal device with two superconducting qubits in a waveguide"

Check out the Q&A presentations from 2017 and 2016 here.

Major funding support
