Academic Level A
  • A PhD in physics or a related field
  • Demonstrated potential to engage in research relevant to the field
  • Developing of a track record of independent, original research evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations
  • A track record of developing and maintaining collaborations within and across research institutions
Academic Level B

In addition to requirements for Academic Level A

  • Previous postdoctoral research experience with demonstrable research outcomes 
  • Strong track record of high-quality peer-reviewed publications 
  • Evidence of participation in the supervision of postgraduate students
  • Track record of grant application individually or as part of a larger research group
