Nicholas Wyatt

Nicholas is a postgraduate student currently undertaking his PhD at the University of Queensland.

His research focuses on plasmon enhanced cavity optomechanics with nanoscale cantilevers.

Plasmonic particles can be used to localise and enhance the optical field of an optical cavity. Nicholas hopes to use this localised field and nanoscale cantilevers to realise quantum measurement and control of the motion of nanowires/tubes.
