Martin undertook a PhD with Professor Andrew White at the University of Queensland. He is currently a research fellow.

He explores foundational questions of quantum mechanics. Martin's research provides experimental evidence for the reality of the quantum wavefunction, the ultimate limits of measurement accuracy, and wave-like behaviour of macroscopic objects.
