Daniel was a postdoctoral research feloow at the University of Western Australia. He worked in the Frequency and Metrology Lab.

He has assumed a position as a postdoc research fellow in quantum measurement of diamond at the University of Melbourne with the Experimental Condensed Matter Physics Group.

His research interests include the development of precision frequency sources based on paramagnetic ions in sapphire and the application of such systems to the field of quantum measurement, information and computing.

PhD, University of Western Australia, Australia (2012)
